- What is an iView Employment Profile?
- It is the online resume of today. Rather than a document alone, an iView E.P. combines your contact information, your resume or CV, and a short prerecorded interview video, so an employer can see and hear you before deciding whether to call.
- How long can my iView be?
- Three minutes per presentation. You will see the limit before you start, a timer while you record, and a warning as you approach the end. A short iView is the point. Employers actually watch them.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. You record in your web browser, on the phone or computer you already have. There is nothing for you or the employer to download.
- What is a job code?
- Every position posted through EmployerInterview.com gets a unique code. An employer can advertise anywhere they like, on a job board, on social media, or on a printed flyer, and say “apply through EmployerInterview.com using Job Code 12345”. Enter that code on our home page and you go straight to the right position.
- Is an iView a video resume?
- No. A video resume is someone reading their resume out loud. An iView is a short employment presentation recorded against interview questions, or a freestyle demonstration, alongside the resume and profile.
- What is a Hire Me code?
- Every job seeker gets a short code and a QR. Switch it on, print the card, and hand it to an employer: they enter the code in the Hire Me box on our home page, or scan the QR, and see your iView. Switch it off and the code stops working.
- Who can see my profile?
- Only who you choose. Your profile is private until you apply to a position, send it to an employer, or turn on “let employers find me”. You can turn that off again at any time.
- What does it cost a job seeker?
- Creating your account and building your profile is free. Paid services are optional and shown before you are ever charged.
- Can several people at my company review a candidate?
- Yes. Employers can add colleagues to their account, from hiring managers and HR to a department manager or an interview committee, each with their own login and their own level of access. A reviewer sees only the candidates routed to them, not your whole pipeline.
- How long does reviewing a candidate take?
- The entire review process takes less than twenty minutes: read the resume, watch a three-minute iView, decide whether to schedule a real interview.
